Approvals & Awards

Cook Street School of Fine Cooking is a privately-owned teaching facility. We are approved and regulated by the State of Colorado Department of Higher Education Division of Private and Occupational Schools and the Veterans Administration. Our 180° Professional Culinary Arts Program is endorsed for quality education by the American Culinary Federation Foundation, the industry’s preeminent professional chefs’ organization.
Upon graduation from the 180° program, students are awarded:

  • A Culinary and Wine Education diploma from Cook Street School of Fine Cooking
  • 20 educational points to be used toward American Culinary Federation certification

In addition, all students enrolled in Cook Street’s 180° program earn full member benefits to the American Culinary Federation, the premier professional chefs' organization in North America, with more than 240 chapters nationwide and 19,000 members.

Graduates who participate in the ACF Colorado Chefs Association Apprenticeship Program also earn college credits transferable to any Colorado community college.

Awards

In May of 2007, Cook Street was awarded the American Culinary Federation Foundation’s (ACFF) Educational Assurance Award after meeting ACFF’s standards for quality education.
