This summer, we’re offering our four-part Classic Techniques: Essentials I series for teens ages 13-17! These fun and approachable classes are taught by our staff of professional Chef Instructors, covering a wide range of skills in classic French and Italian cuisine: from knife skills to sauce making to pan searing and roasting, there’s no better introduction to your teen’s culinary dreams! There are two sessions, but they’re both sure to fill up fast, so call, visit us, and register today!

An optional Chef led field trip will be held on Friday the 7th and 12th, $40 per student- location details coming soon!

Teens ages 13-17 are welcome to sign up for this course. Please note that a parent or guardian MUST attend with them on the first day of class in order to sign a release form. They will be asked to stay for the first ten minutes of class to hear an explanation of policy and procedure as well as leave contact information.

What to Expect: Serious

It’s time to flex those foodie muscles in a hands-on class that perfects your technique.

Your class will be fun and in-depth, with hands-on learning and an intensive look at the subject matter at hand. Since series classes are designed for serious home cooks, we ask that you plan on attending all courses in your series as you will be covering topics in each session that are building blocks for the next session. Arrive on time and wear comfortable shoes: you’ll be on your feet much of the night. Please come prepared to enjoy a meal with at the end of the class. We’ll serve a light antipasti platter with house-baked bread at the start of class.

Refund/Cancellation Policy

Single-Evening Class

If you are unable to attend a class, you must cancel at least five days in advance to receive a refund, retain a credit, or transfer to another class. Without the five-day notice, the registration fee is non-refundable. You may, however, send someone to class in your place. Please notify Cook Street of your substitution by calling 303-308-9300.

Classic Techniques Series Classes

In order to cancel or transfer from a classic techniques series course you must notify us at least five days prior to the start date of the first class in order to receive a full refund. Without a five-day notice the registration fee is non-refundable. If you miss a class due to unforeseen circumstances, Cook Street will only allow for one make-up class.
